I had the opportunity to provide on-site WordPress training at Feed the Babies Fund in Hillcrest, working one-on-one with Sandy Davies. The session was designed to give Sandy the practical skills and confidence needed to take control of a WordPress website without having to rely on a developer for every update.

We worked through the WordPress dashboard from the ground up, covering how to navigate the admin area, manage pages and content, upload and manage images, make website updates and understand the different tools that power a WordPress website. Rather than simply showing where to click, the training focused on understanding how everything fits together.

We then took things further by learning how to build a WordPress website from scratch, turning the session into a practical, hands-on website-building experience. By the end of the training, Sandy had a much clearer understanding of both managing an existing WordPress website and the process involved in creating one from the beginning.
