Empowering AFDA Durban Students with Social Media for Business Mastery

We recently had the opportunity to train an enthusiastic group of 3rd-year students at AFDA Durban on the power of social media for business growth. The session focused on how to strategically use platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to build brand visibility, engage audiences, and convert online attention into actual sales. Students learned how to position themselves professionally online, use content to connect with their ideal audience, and understand the fundamentals of digital marketing.

It was a privilege to co-host the session with renowned media personality Bishan Soni, whose industry insights added tremendous value. A big thank you to Sana Ebrahim and the AFDA Durban team for the warm hospitality. With graduation on the horizon, these students are well-equipped to use social media as a business tool in their creative careers. The future of digital storytelling, influencer marketing, and online branding is in excellent hands with this next generation of innovators.
